Sedona Lakes Adds Westin To Builder List
HOUSTON, TX (Aug. 13, 2015) – Sedona Lakes is adding Houston-based Westin Homes to its roster of builders.
The residential developer and builder recently signed a contract for the purchase of 41 __41_____ homsites in Sedona Lakes, a Landeavor masterplanned community located in Manvel.
Westin Homes will offer an array of single-family home designs priced from the upper $200,000s.
“This expands the variety of home designs available in Sedona Lakes and the options below $300,000,” said Buck Driggers, senior vice president, Texas, for Landeavor. “Westin Homes will be an ideal complement to the array of homes already offered here.”
Kyle Davison, division president of Westin Homes, said Sedona Lakes’ Manvel location less than a mile from Highway 288 was a major factor in the decision to enter the community.”
“Sedona Lakes is located just south of the Pearland area, which offers a wealth of retail, restaurants and everyday conveniences,” Davison said. “The announcement this summer of a Highway 288 expansion makes Sedona Lakes — which is so near the major thoroughfare — even more attractive.”
Davison said model home construction will begin soon.
The new builder joins Sedona Lakes’ current team of builders: Coventry Homes, Emerald Homes, J. Patrick Homes and Trendmaker Homes. Pricing in the community is from the $280,000s to $600,000s. Residents enjoy a resort-style pool with rock waterslide and a nearby pavilion with a fireplace for year-round use. Two playgrounds and a lakeside trail are open in the community, which borders Mustang Bayou.
Students in Sedona Lakes attend schools in the Alvin Independent School District, including E.C. Mason Elementary, Rodeo Palms Junior High and Manvel High School.
